RALLY DAY

Join us in “Stepping Out in Faith”.  We are ready for another great year in our Sunday School classes for children & youth, grades K-12, remembering how we “stepped out in faith” once and did Sunday School in church.  On that day in May, everyone in the sanctuary could see and participate in one giant Sunday school class during worship.  People are still talking about it!

We'll do something similar on Rally Day, Sept. 12th, as we “Rally” together in the basement of Fellowship Hall.  Join us after the sermon as we “step out in faith” with fun, food, videos, and games.

Starting September 19th and Sept 26th,  we’ll have Sunday School during church but in classrooms on the 2nd floor above Fellowship Hall (grades K-6 starting ~11:30am; Youth after sermon).  We’ll meet twice a month (usually 2nd & 3rd Sundays) with teams of teachers “stepping out in faith” to lead the children and youth in building a foundation for Christian living.

All teachers and aides have background checks, so parents may be assured that we have a “Safe Sanctuary” Sunday School.  When additional volunteers complete this process, we will expand classes to three times a month.

Children will leave the worship service at approximately 11:30 am (as they do for Children’s Church) and the youth will leave the service during the Doxology to go to their respective classes:

Three classes –  K to 2nd grade

                             3rd to 6th grade

                             Youth (7th to 12th grade)

Schedule:

First Sunday (Communion) – Children’s Church

Second Sunday – Sunday school for children & youth

Third Sunday – Sunday school for children & youth

Fourth Sunday – Children and youth stay in church

(Fifth Sunday – Children’s Message in church)
